The Internship preparation of Course 24 and Course 25 Business Administration students

(VLU06/11/2021) -  On November 2nd, 2021, The Faculty of Business Administration (BA) held an internship sharing session for Course 24 and Course 25 students, with the joining of more than 200 students to prepare themselves necessities before the upcoming internship.

Along with the process of preparing knowledge and theory, the internship will be a valuable experience for students to initially familiarize themselves with the actual work process, improve skills and add opportunities for development later. The internship session of the Faculty of Business Administration has the participation of Dr. Nguyen Quynh Mai - Dean of The Faculty of Business Administration; Ms. Hua Thi Bach Yen - Deputy Dean of The Faculty of Business Administration; Ms. Tran Thi Trang Thanh - Human Resources Director, Asean Business Center Co., Ltd.

At the beginning of the session, Dr. Nguyen Quynh Mai shared: “The internship is an important program in the training roadmap, helping you initially acquire the necessary skills on the path of professional work later. The Faculty of Business Administration greatly appreciates the contribution of businesses, alumni who have succeeded and returned to help the juniors. During the internship, the faculty expects you to seize the opportunity, put an active mind, be ready to learn everything to create value for yourself.

As an alumna of the Faculty of Business Administration - Course 10, returning to her role as human resources director (HR Director), Ms. Trang Thanh enthusiastically shared with students important knowledge in presenting CV through 3 main contents: education, career goals and working experience. In addition, students should briefly present the personal information section; list in order of time starting from the last work accompanied by authentic evidence; prioritize selection of jobs close to the descriptions required by employers; certified skills and business courses are also a plus for students' resume to be appreciated.

Besides, the guest also gave students advice: “Be positive in joining outdoor activities, the Union’s events, which strengthen your CV, make a big impression in the employers’ side."

Accompanying students in the internship, Ms. Hua Thi Bach Yen - Deputy Dean of The Faculty of Business Administration has outlined detailed instructions on purpose, time requirements, how to make internship reports, effective website addresses to seek for job opportunities. Participating in internships, students need to actively fulfill the requirements from the university and businesses with a positive spirit, a progressive attitude. This will be the beginning of the process of work development in the future, not only improving the value for themselves and spreading the beautiful image and capacity of Van Lang University students in companies and businesses’ side.
