GNT Vietnam looking for talented VLU students in the workshop on Manga producing projects

(VLU, 31/10/2021) – On 30 October 2021, the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (Digital Design major) at Van Lang University collaborated with GNT Vietnam (a member of GIANTY Group) to organize the workshop on “Manga producing project” and attract more than 250 participating students.

From Van Lang University, there was the participation of MA. Phan Quan Dung – Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FFAD)’s Dean, Dr. Nguyen Dac Thai – FFAD’s Vice-Dean, MA. Le Truong Bao – Digital Design Division’s Head and other faculty members. From GNT Vietnam, the workshop welcomed Mr. Tran Hoai Nam – GNT Vietnam’s Design Manager, Mr. Huynh Nhat Nam – GNT Vietnam’s Design Leader and speaker Hoang Bao Van – GNT Vietnam.

During the workshop, GNT’s members enthusiastically introduced the students to the Clip Studio tool to support efficient creativity and valuable career insights. In which the Design department was a potential destination for the Digital Design students. In addition, GNT also announced that they are launching the Webtoon project to produce Manga and searching for young talents.

At the workshop, the students received detailed instructions on applying, what to expect and how much they could earn. The Manga producing project was a valuable and practical opportunity for Digital Design students to engage in hands-on situations, enrich their knowledge and earn considerable income.

The workshop took place in a dynamic atmosphere and helped promote the eager and passionate students who pursued the Digital Design career. Soon, the Faculty and the Company should collaborate to organize a Webinar to introduce the current and planned projects at GNT. Thanks to the cooperative relationship between VLU’s FAAD and GNT Studio – Japan, we hope that the members of the Dithering house could have more opportunities to learn and work in a professional environment.
