At the beginning of the webinar, speaker Huynh Chi Cong shared about the figure of the Tourism industry: "Tourism revenue has decreased significantly due to the fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemicThat is the main reason for the decline in human resources. More than 90% of domestic travel and tourism businesses in Hanoi and Da Nang City have to face dissolution, while small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in Ho Chi Minh City are more than 95%. Most of the employees working in the industry have to change their jobs showing that the Tourism industry has experienced tragic events. At present, the Government has begun to issue specific development strategies for the Tourism industry after the widely spread vaccination strategy that seems to be an optimistic signal."

Some provinces and cities gradually rebuild the tourism industry. The pandemic could be a test for the industry to find ways to get better adaption and development. One of the essential solutions is training and developing high-quality human resources.
