(VLU, 12/4/2021) - On 10 April 2021, Van Lang University had organized the Opening Ceremony of its Olympic Swimming Pool marking the step-forward in facility upgrade and facilitating the student’s physical development.
Since the beginning of 2021 when VLU’s Olympic Swimming Pool came to the public, all VLU's faculties, staff, and students were delighted and excited about the University’s investment.
The launching of the VLU Swimming Pool complex offers students the opportunities to entirely develop their physical performance. This facility marks the outstanding quality of VLU’s 26-year journey of constant development and improvement.

VLU’s Swimming Pool Complex meets the standards to host the international competition. The pool’s dimensions are 20m x 50m with a minimum depth of 2m and consist of multiple lanes separated by lane line floats. It is the currently known biggest on-campus swimming pool in Vietnam with eight lanes satisfying the international competing standards.
The Swimming Pool could host 8 sessions for 8 classes daily, each class size should be around 40 students. Besides the extra-curriculum swimming classes and competitions, VLU also offers diving classes.

In the event of the opening ceremony, the attending faculties and students were also amazed by the underwater performances.

Following the Opening Ceremony was the swimming competition of Van Lang Sports Festival 2021 attracting the participation of VLU students as a part of the series of sports activities starting from 27 March 2021.
