With the enthusiasm of the manufacturer, Metran Company also dedicates special solutions to Vietnam, without precedent. It requires a solution that is both effective, smart, and compact for Vietnam's specific medical characteristics. We have had an active and hard-working process in the context of a broken global supply chain, many equipment and components, and people facing many difficulties. Overcoming these obstacles, so far, we have handed over more than 1,000 ventilators (out of 2,000 in total machines committed to sponsoring Vietnam). We determine the university must solve the necessary problems of society and the country. We, fortunately, have the companionship of many partners."

The Eliciae MV20 ventilator has undergone a very rigorous professional evaluation before mass production and is highly appreciated by medical experts from Vietnam and Japan. Today, at the ventilator handover event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cong Quyet Thang - President of Vietnam Anesthesia Association - once again affirmed that MV20 designed following Vietnamese medical characteristics, and manufactured according to Japanese standards. The design is compact, safe, and easy for medical staff to manipulate, minimizing cross-contamination for patients and medical staff in Covid-19 treatment.

From a professional perspective, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Cong Quyet Thang shares about the importance of ventilators: "I am also a clinician who has been participating in resuscitation, helping patients to breathe. We understand the pain of patients with respiratory distress. In localities today, we are short of ventilators for patients. We witnessed the hard work of local doctors when using their hands to force patients breathing; worries and fears of patients and family members when aware they lack a ventilator,..."

Regarding the solution to use breathing apparatus MV20, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cong Quyet Thang emphasized: "The MV20 ventilator not only provides an overall treatment for COVID-19 patients but everyone. The MV20 machine is a friendly-user and takes an estimated 30 minutes to explain for medical users. MV20 ventilator operates equivalently to a modern ventilator, but only needs basic programs for a short time. The special advantage of MV20, while no breathing machine in the world has yet, is that it can suck patient's air out of the room. If the air were removed from the ward, the rate of cross-contamination would be greatly reduced. It was a great idea."

In the event, on 26 August 2020, Van Lang University and Van Thinh Phat Group performed the ceremony of handing over 540 breathing machines to 8 localities. Ho Chi Minh City received and handed over 250 Eliciae MV20 ventilators.
