(VLU, 01/01/2022) – On the afternoon of December 25, 2021, the Faculty of Dentistry of Van Lang University, in collaboration with Hospital 199 – Ministry of Public Security, organized the workshop on "Up-to-date diagnosis and treatment of the temporal joint disorder". The workshop took place at 199 Hospital's Main Hall located at 216 Nguyen Cong Tru Street, An Hai Dong Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang City; it was also available online on Zoom platform and live-streamed on 199 Hospital's Fanpage. The event attracted enormous attention from specialized doctors and other attendees.

The temporal joint disorder is the second most common pathology causing facial pain after toothaches. It is a complicated pathology caused by either the patients themselves or dental mistreatment. It is difficult for dentists to detect the disorder at a subclinical state, resulting in challenging dental treatment. The workshop aimed to help orthodontists upgrade their knowledge and approach modern methods of treating temporal joint disorders. Throughout the workshop, there were four reports with specific focuses attracting many attendees.
